Agreed. Well, Nightfire's engine, GoldSRc is a modified version of Quake III Arena engine, which is what The World Is Not Enough was being built.

no, nightfire is a modified half-life 1 with early Source engine roots, itself a highly modified Quake 1 engine (with a couple of bugfixes from Quake 2). Quake 3 is a vastly superior engine to the HL1 and quake 1 engine and if nightfire PC used it, it would have been a completely different outcome in terms of gameplay and graphics. it would have been able to outmatch the console version in poly counts

Makes me wonder why they haven't used the Quake III engine for the game.
